Hi, has anyone looked into big business known as Mergers and Acquisitions.

It's a way to buy and sell medium sized companies without having to pay any money.

When you sell it, you profit by a few hundred thousands pounds.

    Anyone looked into it?

well generally the way it works is you find someone who is willing to invest money in a good idea, and then you go around looking for people that want to sell their company.

There are ways to buy companies without having to pay cash, simply by negotiating a deal with the seller.

M&A is a business practice that has been around forever. It is not limited to medium-sized companies. Generally, M&A takes one of two forms: 1., two companies that believe they would be more competitive together, decide to Merge with each other and form a single company; 2., one company decides that another company will enhance its business, so it Acquires it via a purchase of cash, stock, etc. There are M&A consultants that specialize in helping companies do either of these activities. If the companies are big enough, investment bankers and other very large companies may get involved to help the process. There are always fees associated with such consulting efforts. If you engage an M&A broker, their will be a percentage commission upon completion of the sale, too.
