    I think mini niche websites are a good source of income if done correctly. You want to have unique content first of all before you actually monetize. There are plenty of niches out there, most that are over saturated, but some that have keywords that you can dominate the niche with. As long as you have the unique content, high ranked keywords, and plenty of traffic, you can make a killing from micro niche websites.

    yes its good.... i am doing now, good keywords are the key along with quality content. Also, you need to expand the websites with related content or otherwise you may get negative results on SERPs
