The only reason why all the viruses and stuff are for M$ is because thats what the majority of people use...

 

It is not the only reason, there are flaws in IE, XP, SP2, Active X API's, the registry, this combination of problems allows drive by downloads of malware, adware, viruses and spyware of all types to load without user knowledge.

Don't let anyone tell you different.

 

That argument is older than time itself..

 

There is no perfect system anthony. These MS flaws was exagerated due to the fact that they are the most popular OS in the world and the best target to find loopholes. If Linux or MAC can get this popularity I'll bet their flaws will come out and AV companies for Linux/MAC will flood to the rescue

 

I would still contend that it is not so much popularity as it is the fact that it is much easier to exploit Windows given a great many people are not that conscious of the dangers, or educated enough to keep their systems up to date. In the nix/Mac world the learning curve is a bit higher and users seem to be, for the most part, a bit more intune with keeping their systems up to date.

 

Ask them if they wouldn't mind adding our charity to the list of charities Bill and Melinda give 100's of millions of dollars to.
