    That's the first time you've asked that question, but to answer it, Google will follow them as it does other links of the same type, but according to Matt Cutts (of Google) they will not pass PageRank and even if they did there are so many links on the page it would be pretty meaningless.

    I think the site looks pretty ugly and the links are of very little long term value - but big CONGRATS! to Alex. There's nothing wrong with a gimic. It's clever.

    Marketing was the key for the site I guess :)
    We all can learn alot from the way that site has progressed from a idea to million dollars. And shaws should merge all the million dollar threads by you into one :)

    cp: Yes from my experiences, I do believe G will follow and index iframes. Or at least it appears that they have on my sites...
