A bit of integrity probably brings him further in business and life than those couple hundred K he earned.

He asks for money to fund Uni, then he leaves Uni.

Unless he really does go back, it's a con in essence. It's like all the Hurricane relief donation sites now saying "Aaah heck, forget the needy, let's squander the money on something else instead..." (sort of).

Yeah, milli villini was popular once and hit it big too .... once they were outed as frauds they couldn't buy an ice cream cone ... and they weren't the first, or last, one-hit wonders in the world.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not calling this kid a fraud, but there is certainly an air of "decption" that's being preceived over this and it may backfire on him in the business world.

However, I am suggesting that it's possible that this was his one hit wonder ....

Even if he quits for longer, I don't see what the fuss is about. He wouldn't be the first to start off with Plan A and then find Plan B more attractive. So what?

I do think the primary reason for the reaction is here.

To be honest im suprised companies want to offer him a job as a consultant just because he got lucky with all the media and stuff. What kind of education/experience does he have? Its like...

Company: "Alex! we are experiencing a drop in sales as a result of a vertical merger that caused cultural devide and employee motivation to drop. Should we addopt Maslows theory to....."

Alex: "Yea, what you should do is draw a huge square on the wall and have one million little squares inside it and then give every employee a square and then they can make their square look very prity and the person with the best square wins a holiday!"

Company: "Why did not we think of that before! Thanks you Alex! Have a million"

lol you still need education and experience.

That's exactly what I was trying to say, he needs an education & experience. One idea can't make you intelligent. Very well put mightyb

The kid can go to school any time. It will be difficult, but not impossible. I can't fault him for making the most of his 15 minutes now, while he can.
