    Placement on two of my sites. First site is one I actually worked on for a long time and wondering if I need to move the ads around a bit. Currently there is two ads and a google custom search

    This other one is using the wordpress boring theme and I am still wondering about people's opinions on it. I have heard people say that an ugly website with an ad that stands out is a good thing.

    On the first one, the text in blue doesnt look quite right. It's not necessarily bad, but perhaps change it to an image-only, or move it elsewhere(?) - it doesn't have to be though.
    Also, the google search is good, I've had good luck with search in terms of high CTR.

    For the second one I'd say make your text bigger so the image ad isn't as apparent. But I'd say it's good
