MIS Managers - please help out a business student! It's easy

Hey MIS Managers, I have been assigned a project for my Business class in which I am supposed to interview a minimum of 5 people in one of my desired fields of study, which is Management Information Systems. The method of interview does not matter, so I figured I would post on forums in hopes of some responses.

Requirements:
-Must be an MIS manager, currently or formerly.
-At least a couple sentences per answer is fine.
-You can PM me, or just respond to the thread if you choose.

-How does it compare to another management position?

3. What is a typical day in your job?

4. What is the current status of your field? (Is it becoming for competitive, or complicated?)
-Would you recommend this field to a new business student? Why?

5. How did you get into this field?

6. What education and/or training are necessary to be successful in your field?

7. What skills/qualities, other than education, are necessary in your field?

8. What are the things you dislike about your job?
-What, if anything, would you change about it?

9. What advice would you give to someone wanting to enter your field?

10. What kind of groups are you responsible for managing?
