Monetizing big chess site problem.

we have big chess site with online realtime chess, where people can play against houndreds of people online. We are asking money for membership on monthly/3months/yearly basis. The site is http://www.ChessFriends.com. The issue is, that some people are buying premium, but not much. Server is well done, lot of perfect developement. My question is, what are other option to charge more moeny from people. Because right now, really addicted people are paying only membership money, and we are asking same mebership money from really addicted and also from seldom players. We cant't push users more, and restrict them more on playing, because good online chess server has to have lot of people online. If we force them by option pay or leave , we will lose atractivity and fun for paying members becaus of lose of non paying users.
So first guestion is, how to force more people to pay without losing not paying people.
Second question is, how to charge more from People who already paid us. I mean, addicted people can pay much more than just membership money. We need to find out the way, how to charge them more. What extra feature to sell, or what wirtual service to add, to charge people who already paid for membership. Ideally to give them option to spend as much money as possible, every max limit of possible money spent by 1 addicted user is wrong. Limit should be set up by max amount of money user has on his bank account.

Not being familiar with your site, perhaps you can have different levels of membership with varying benefits. Or you can sell credits. There is also the possibility of selling advertising. The Chess Store has a good affiliate program.
