    I think its not advisable to place too much ads on your homepage, your viewers might not like it, well, you could always split test and see which ones are giving good results.

    The best reason not to have extra ads is because having more will force lower paying ads to show up beneath the top ones...overall your cost per click on average will go down.

    This runs contrary to popular belief as described by so called gurus.

    I think its nice without too many ads. but if you did, you could always increase the width and add a third column at the right.
