    Hi,
is there any other site like digg or reddit? Tried delicious but that did not direct any traffic to my site.

there are many others, but you'll find that you'll get basically no traffic from them. I'd stick with your two

My biggest traffic helpers honestly have been the easy to hit ones:
Netscape (oddly enough - more traffic from here than that of Digg), Reddit, Shoutcast, and Digg.

On average they are bringing in close to 1000 hits a day to a two week old site. So write excellent articles, market your site well, and submit sites often, you'll do fine :)

You should definitely try stumbleupon. You'll be surprised how much traffic you can get from the in one day.

StumbleUpon for sure. You'll get banned from Digg and Netscape if you submit too much, and the others won't bring you much longterm unless your content is grade A (and changes daily).

According to this year's research the most influential social networks appear to be Digg (the king, by no doubt), second is Netscape and Yahoo's My web in third place.
Posting on these three would definitely get a ton of visitors, to speak from experience.:)
