More public service ads showing up - why?

I have a 468x60 banner spot that only shows image ads. Lately it has been showing a lot of public service ads and I am at a loss to explain why. I have been using Adsense for well over a year.

Any ideas as to what could cause this to happen all of a sudden?

Well, maybe there are no advertisers for the topic of your website.

That could be true but as it is the stockmarket niche I find it a litle hard to believe. I guess I am only showing image ads in this spot so perhaps that is the problem. Google should definitely try harder to get more quality image ads in their system.

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

    Try using section targetting.
