Multiple Accounts on Face Book?

Discussion in 'Social Networks' started by poojaGee, Feb 8, 2010.

Several small businesses asked me to setup their own accounts on FaceBook and Twitter. The problem is that I'll be doing it from my own IP address. I'm assuming that FB & Twitter don't allow multiple accounts on the same IP address. So - is there anyway around this (besides using a Proxy server - which I'm not going to do)?

Just logout when you're done creating an account? I don't think the services are going to care, as you won't be logging back into them each time. Just clear your history, cookies, etc after your finish one account and then re-register.

I have 5 accounts that I created with this IP I am currently using, so I think it's safe. They don't care much about multiple accounts I guess, or same IP issues, would've been a problem for Facebook users in LAN shops :)

They don't care about what IP you use. You just need a unique email address for each signup. :)

I can guarantee you 10000% that you dont need to worry about IP addresses on either. I have thousands of accounts on facebook and over 100 on twitter, i have never used any false ip or used any proxies, think of how many people have facebook accounts, its impractical to think that there would never be multiple accounts logging in from one IP, think of office buildings schools and collages.

As long as they're all not your own accounts, it should be fine.
