    Hi

I placed my ad in the left column http://www.nonstopfootball.com/forum

    Is that a good placement?

Also, how come no ads are appearing? How can I add the relevant links/content... It seems google can't find relevant ads.

    thanx

Perhap the google media bot hasn't crawled your site yet, so just wait 1 day or 2.

    Oh, ok then

I thought there was a setting somewhere in your adsense control panel to set what keywords you want the ads to have.

    Thanx for that.

The placement is a bit low. Also to make it blend better, consider limiting the width of the other menu-items to the width of your ad-block (160px by the looks of it).
On forums, generally it's a good idea to have a links-block or horizontal ad between the first forum-item and the next. This would also get the first adblock visible without scrolling on most screen-sizes.

also, now the links are appearing but they are about the wrong topic.

any idea how to change this?

they are about (NFL football ), and I want them to be about football ( soccer )

    anything I can do there?

i'm seeing football news, barcelona football, football shirt - it looks like mediabot has picked up your site correctly.

Personally i'd match the border & the top line of the box (ads by goooogle) to represent a color that matched the green you use in the other boxes.

That way your ads will blend much nicer (they stick out at the moment, and thats not good if you want people to click!

Also, why not put a banner ad at the top, above the Welcome box? That'd get lots of clicks
