My AdSense ad placements illegal???

check please - its my arcade site, i heard that if you place an adsense ad next to an image, that's illegal or something... i dont wanna get banned from adsense...

may be you are too good in blending.. when i go through very fast. i just saw banner..... near to the top menu.
it should be ok.. because it is quite similar to dp forum.. have a look yourself..

 

I see no violation, actually never heard of that. Your not allowed to place adsense near a image??? Crap I'm in trouble!

 

Actually, its mentioned in the TOS that you should not place Ads beside images coz the Visitor will click the ad thinking that he will be getting the product in the image available there. Google describes that it tricks the visitor.

Now, coming to your site, I recommend you to take off the top banner. remove even the rectangle in the middle. Now, add a leader board or a large rectangle below the GAME SEARCH panel. Add another leader board or large rectable after Random Games.

Cool site, good placement. I do not remember seeing anything in the google tos. as far as i know the only thing google objects is placing their ads next to others so that the visitors will think they are from google.

 

Sorry I was wrong, I rechecked tos and there was indeed some limitations with images. I think you should redesign it just to be on the safe side. my apologies, once again.
