My AdSense revenue is very low

I have an online tool website. Below I'm sharing the screenshot of my AdSense report, where you can see the monthly revenues of 2022.

As you can see in my reports, my website received a total of 43,350,761 page views in 2022. When we divide this by 12, it makes 3,612,563 page views per month.

In the calculation I made by selecting the relevant region, category and monthly page views on https://adsense.google.com/start/#calculator , Google tells me that I will earn an estimated $457,550 annually. When we divide this by 12, it makes $38,129 per month.

But as you can see in my reports, I earned $10,373 in total in 2022. On a monthly basis, I earned between $600 - $1,200. That's exactly 2% of what the Google AdSense Revenue Calculator gives! As you can see there is a huge difference!

Google AdSense Revenue Calculator gives an estimated value, it does not reflect reality. It is natural to have a difference with real AdSense revenues. But the difference being this large indicates a problem with my site.

Your CPC is low as advertisers in your niche and the location that your visitors are from are not prepared to pay much for them. Nothing you can do about that.

Ignore the Google AdSense Revenue Calculator. It does not estimate your earnings! It is a promotional/marketing tool used by Google to get people to sign up for Adsense.

There are many great alternatives for AdSense but it depends on what you are looking for specifically.

Outbrain, Mondiad, Taboola, MGID (native ads), Propeller, PopAds, Popcash (pops), Adsterra, etc. Your website will also be approved faster than with Adsense. Just google them.

So it looks like you are doing 0.02 pennies/view on average. I have a gardening website and did the math for it and I'm making 0.17 pennies/view. So about 8 times your rate per view. I wish I had your traffic. I only have about 80,000 views per year.

10 years ago my same site was making between $150 to $300 a month. Those days are gone. I don't know what changed but I'm at about $11 a month. Yah, big difference.

 

The Google revenue calculator says I should be making $2000 a month. Wow, that is really a joke. Off by a factor of 200.
