my blending technique - Making Ads looks like something else

look at this ad :



You wont be breaking any AdSense terms by belending your ads in this method, all you have to do is to make a table, a background image for the table "use PhotoShop to make a nice looking transparent image", post your ad code within the table tags and with some modification you will get a code like this :

That's a nice tip but I still prefer blending the background.

 

Some people have said that this works much better, but I do profer the appearance of blended ads..

How do you make those images in photoshop ? I mean to make a dropshadow on the transparent gif.

 

looks good but when I first saw it, I thought I was an image and ignored it!

Google says that there should be a divider between an image and the ads. I do not know what they say of having ads over an image.

Hmm... why did you title it "blending"? It is actually making it very much stand out instead. I have a layout like this with a little Post-It note behind the ad block and the CTR is almost nil. I just like the way it looks and don't care about the site it's on but on a good site that's bringing money I would definitely consider getting rid of anything that makes it stand out. Proved that in testing time and time again since 2003.

 

yes this makes the ads stand out - not helpful in all cases- but in places wer u want it to really stand out - this one is the hack!

 

Hmm intresting technique...

 

Do not use the black as the shadow color, instead of that use light gray .
