My college assigment

I'm really not Notepad html coder and i like to use front page or Dreamweaver for my designs and when my college assignment came that i had to design a website to be showcased as part of college design department.



did it in 4 hours using PhotoShop, MS Word and Notepad but i did cheat and use DreamWeaver.

First i needed buttons so i got i went into Ms Word made a box and text and made a print screen and took it to PhotoShop and did all the things to make it in html website.

Please review and tell me what you think

 

those images in your navigation are property of Microsof, so really you cant use them. Those are also the only thing I like about this so hmmmm. It bad, real bad. Sorry to be so harsh but sometimes people need the truth told to them and not sugercoated before they will ever get better.

 

Pretty nice design. I think the small icons beside the links look "off" though, I would remove those. The colors work pretty well together, atleast you used the same saturation for all of those colors

Not bad, I love colours. As intrinzik pointed it out the icons are Microsoft's properties. You can google for free icons or get it at iconfactory.com (make sure you downloaded the freeware type!). There are some awesome icons that look like Mac's icons.

Maybe you can provide the link to your website so that we can thoroughly check it out. If you need any design tips of do's and don't's PM me.

The ones on the navigation i got from Famfamfam.com, nothing is owned by Microsoft.

soon you will learn that photoshop can do all of that and you wont need to print screen like that!

but anyway they dont look that great there anyway. Just a plain link would probably look better IMO
