My CTR is horrible

I recently start a site and it's doing pretty well as far as visitors go(2k-3k uniques per day). I only run adsense ad's on it, and my CTR is in the .2 - .4%, which is the lowest for all of my sites.
I tried to blend the ads and honestly just don't know how to attack a site like this (I usually do content sites, not this).
    My site:
    http://www.stopbeingbored.com

Any suggestions for colors / placement / anything at all?

    thanks in advance.

me personally think that on a site like that the ads would do better if they stood out, ads that blend tend to be boring.

I think google can ban you for those images next to ads, I've seen people get banned for that, it is tricking people on purpose. My advice is to remove those images

Personally these links confuse me a little. Does it count if they just click on the link on my page, and do nothing else, or do they have to follow a link on the next page for my account to get credit?

Google's TOS says the ads just need borders to be ok with using the images :)
I read up before I did it.

I took some of your suggestions, and after looking at some other threads here blended the ads to look more like the links on my site. My CTR for the evening is up to 3%! Thanks for all your help!

Use another color for the borders, for example use green. The ads need to jump out the page. And put another leadboard between action/arcade - puzzle/shootinh. Use again another color then orange. This will boost up your ctr.
