My Dropshipping Journey with AliExpress

Plugin activation is not working at all. After purchasing my copy, inserting the licence and clicked on the Activate button nothing is happening.

Do you have zend guard loader enabled on your server? the zip files are encrypted and you should not be able to unzip them. but you need zend guard loader and the proper version of php. check the knowledgebase on alidropship.com

 

@yaros what was in the new update released today? is there a change log or version log for us to see what's changed?

 

Yes. I am running PHP 5.6 with the Zend guard loader on a Digital Ocean VPS.
PS. My website is on HTTPS. Apparently the requests of the plugin are being made to HTTP.

As others have, I too signed up for this forum specifically based on your detailed thread describing your journey with Dropshipping using AliExpress...

Very interested in your plugin, and in looking at the demo sites they look appealing and easy to navigate...I have a couple of tools that allow me to see the best selling items in any niche for Shopify stores, and an AliExpress tool that does a lot of the heavy lifting regarding research for products, sellers, keywords, and this tool will, among other things, scrape all the pertinent information to include product images, descriptions, keywords, long-tailed keywords, reviews, and even the complete http page for selected products....

These two tools, combined with your plugin seems like it would be a "perfect storm" for someone like me to determine what niche and products to select for adding to a Dropshipping store...I am quite excited about this...

I do have a few questions...

First, does your Dropshipping plugin have the capability to import such data I gather using my research tools via a csv file or perhaps an Excel spreadsheet?

Second, I see that at this point you are selling the plugin with a one site license. I have a TLD that I use when creating subdomains that are more niche specific. Does this license allow me to use the plugin for each or will I have to purchase a license for each subdomain?

Third, the themes that are free to download can be modified to a degree I assume, looking at the demos I was not able to see exactly how much flexibility there is in regards to adding comparison widgets, sale widgets, etc. Can I add third party features/plugins to these free themes i.e. pop-ups, etc. without breaking the theme?

Overall, I must compliment you on the effort you have put in building up not only your Dropshipping business, but also leveraging this into a number of other income streams. Love it!

Hello,

1. It does not support csv files.
2. You need a license for each sub-domain, because the license is firmly connected to the domain.
3. It has customisation menu and can use other plugins https://alidropship.com/codex/3-how-to-customize-themes/

I bought your plugin Social Rabbit. It was working perfectly but it stopped working lately. The "post grabber" and the "facebook promoter"/''instagram promoter" all stopped working. But im still paying the money each month. What is going on ?

I even tried to register for a new account on your website but i cant either.

Hello Yaros! I purchased your Alidropship plugin together with a custom-made website. Firstly, very nice job! The website looks nice and clean and the plugin has all the functionalities you could wish for. Secondly, I have some questions for you which I will try and put together as to not take too much of your valuable time:

1) From what I've seen, every product, even the ones showing up on Aliexpress when searching with the "Free shipping" option ticked, have some countries that require you to pay shipping. Is there anyway I can search only products with Worldwide free shipping? Or what is your solution to this problem? I am afraid, even if this won't happen too often, that someone where shipping is VERY expensive will order my product and I'll make a loss on the sale..

2) Should I stay away from more expensive products? What price range do you recommend and why?
My only fear with expensive products are scammers. I heard if someone bought from you with a fake bank card, if the thief is caught the bank will take back your money without compensating you in any way. Did anything similar ever happen to you?

 

1. Try to pick only the products that have epacket shipping option, it's very cheap ($2-$4), rather fats (10-20 days) and alway offer tracking. You can filter items by epacket with the help of Chrome extension that comes with the plugin.
2. I am using Stripe and it usually detects fraud transactions.

 

I do select epacket shipping, but that is not the problem. The problem is that even if one product has epacket shipping for United States, it doesn't have it for, lets say South Africa (and shipping to South Africa would cost 12.66$). How do I prevent someone from South Africa ordering my product?
All items offering the epacket shipping option have some countries with expensive shipping, what do you do when you get orders from those countries?

Hi Yaros. I have a problem with the Chrome extension. Because in the store, when I search for products in my niche, it doesn't show anything (even though on Aliexpress there are hundreds of products), I tried to use the Chrome extension to add the products manually. But when I click on the extension's icon, an empty ballon shows up and i can't do anything with it. Any help with that? See the image attached...

 

Hi, you don't need to click on icon. You just need to visit any product page on AliExpress and you will see a red panel appeared on the top. Click Import button there and the product will be added to your site.
