My Dropshipping Journey with AliExpress

Tell me please. The PayPal payment system is integrated in the plugin. If I am from Ukraine (+ I have a payoneer card), can I accept PayPal payments?

 

Yes, PayPal is integrated. Payoneer card does not work with PayPal.

you do not need PayPal business account to run this business. Personal one is fine.

 

I asked the support team paypal.
they wrote:

It means that PayPal is not fully supported in Ukraine and it does not matter if you have a business or a personal account. I can't help here.

After I found your articles here, I join AliExpress portal right away and now I'm waiting to get an approval on getting APP KEY to be able to use their API. (hopefully soon). By the way, since you are talking about AliExpress API, and you said that you built your site from scratch ... I believe that you are a developer (assuming). If I'm correct, I have some technical questions after I check on your ecommerce site.

Querying products and so on are not my worries, since I fast read the API document already.
My question is around your shopping cart... because I didn't find any public API in their API documentation to do:
1. Order submission
2. Payment submission and verification (I plan to use CC)
Can you please explains me on how you perform both order and payment submission from your site?

 

I do not use AliExpress API with my plugin at all. Its API is very poor, it does not return many products, any variations, reviews, product descriptions, etc. I am using Google chrome extension for importing and updating products.

 

You mean, you are screen scrapping then updates you site?
And about payment... I found that in one of your answer here, you are using a CC payment gateway outside AliExpress API ... does your business process like below flow??

START --> Someone place an order and pay ---> you received his/her order and payment through email or something --> you make order to AliExpress through your plugin with fulfillment address of your buyer ---> END

Yes, correct. I have payment gateways integrated in the plugin (PayPal, Stripe, etc.). AliExpress API is not necessary at all.

 

Hey All - I've been watching this thread with some keen interest. I'm quite familiar with starting ecommerce businesses with drop shipping and have built business in excess of $1mil / annually through USA suppliers. So this is a first working with a model like this via AliExpress. Interesting to say the least. I was about to purchase this plugin that Yaros developed and came across a few other things.

Has anyone experienced "Aliexpress Dropship for Woocommerce"? (code canyon) o or WooDropship? Everything is pretty light on information out there for this kind of process (Ordering from Aliexpress vendors and dropshipping).

Any feedback would be great!

AliDropship is the best one IMO. You can not import product variations if you buy only Woolmporter. You need to buy Aliexpress variations plugin too. This means you need to pay additional 40$. Need Aliexpress Reviews then pay another $30, etc. And no built-in themes and marketing tools. AliDropship is all-in-one solution.

 

Hi Yaros, can I ask something about the accepting payment part?

I only can use 2checkout to accept the payment (my country doesn't support Stripe).

I saw ur Harry site has a column at payment section to allow customer enter their credit card information.

My question is after my customer finished enter their credit card info and click "Proceed to pay", will the webpage direct my customer to 2checkout page to ask my customer enter the credit card info again?

Or the payment will just processed at backend system and then just show "Thank you for your payment" page at my website?

Actually I want to know what is the next steps after my customer clicked "Proceed to Pay" button.. I don't wish to let them know what payment processing company I am using..
