    http://www.visitdevonandcornwall.com/holiday-accommodation-enquiry

This form runs from a cart, where people add properties and then send on mail to 10 accommodation owners, but I am getting a lot of peopl adding properties but not sending the enquiry.

Why might this be? I would be greatful of a harsh opinion because this is the crux of my buisness

    Regards

My first question would be: are you sure it's people adding them and not a search spider?

My second question would be: are you sure they're not sending the enquiry, but instead there's an intermittent problem with sending the enquiries themselves?

Until you check your server logs (to answer question 1) and maybe do some more of your own logging (to answer question 2) then you might be trying to tackle the wrong issue.

I say and ask all this mainly because overall, I see no reason why people wouldn't use it as expected. Unless it's for the simple fact that it looks like a shopping cart and so they subconsciously think that they're about to pay for something.

If the first couple of questions that I asked lead nowhere, I would consider going straight to the enquiry page when clicking on a property. Don't build up a list. Store the request information somewhere so that if they click on a second property, you can populate the request information for them, helping to remove the redundancy...

I am sure its not that

Did you send an enquiry(I dont think you did), I was watching you in there, I have a feeling that there might have been a problem with smpt auth. which I have now changed.

Hum interesting... I will give that thought today.

    Thank you for your time

I didn't make a request, no, as I assumed it would go straight through to the places and I didn't want to make them sift through my dummy data.

If you like, I can definitely put a couple through...

    Hi Jim:

I just made one enquiry about property 1, then made a second enquiry for both property 1 and property 23.

I received two confirmation emails, so I don't know what else I can offer...
