Well now I came to conclusion that darker background is better for adsense!!

Why ? ... I had a site for one month with dark background and then a site with light background again for one month..I left longer testing period to really see if this is the case.. Ads were positioned at exactly the same position on both !

So results are that on dark background CTR was every day at least 3%, some days even more than 5%..... and on light (white background - blue color links)
it was 1% i mean never even went over 1,5% ......

I am using dark from now on and really dont care if surfer don't like it, because I am sure when he comes from google he found information he wanted so background really doesnt matter

    Anyone with similiar experience

    I agree :)
Just moved an adsense unit from the light background area of the page to the dark background area and the CTR went way up!

Are you referring to the colour of the ad unit, or the background of your site? Do you have the same site background as that of your unit?

ok thanks for clarifying, interesting results. What type of site is it? as black backgrounds not always appropriate for some sites.

Black is not the only option. I used dark green and it is working fine.

Repeat visitors find easily change, dark BG work outs depends on site template.I use only white backgroung in Blue text links.it also depends on positioning of ads.
