real: You may want to address that directly to the contact address at Site-Sift which is .
I public forum is not the best way to contact the editors concerning your submissions.

They give themselves full authority as usual, but there is a double standard. For all sites there is no such rule, except for ours.

and yes, I emailed them first and waited for 1 day, but nothing happened or heard..

Take a look at the exmples of what they allow and then form your title based on what they allow and what you want. Then email that to them. Some timess the editors get behind. When you are getting 200 to 300 emails a day it is a very easy thing to happen. Best advise I can give you is to be patience and deal with the edit in a kind and business like way and if they refuse your request ask why and product samples of other subs that are in there site that have keyword rich titles.
Send them an email and then going public with a complaint on a forum one day after is not proper way to process as far as I am concerned. If some one did that to me I would be tempted to just removed them and return their money.

I agree 100%. In many cases that is the reason. It clutters the directory and makes it look ugly.

    Hello-

Sorry you feel that way I just looked into the email. I will look into your situation and get back to you via email tonight.

I do have to say we are building a quality directory and not a link farm. We have spent a lot of time and man hours adding quality sites that we have found to the directory. 70% of the sites listed in the directory are from our own editors finding sites and listing them. One of our editors made some bad judgment in the titles of some of the sites he added. We are a bit different from most directories in the fact that we do allow users to add a few KW's after the company name. We will not allow completely keyword stuffed titles. If someone is looking for that they should seek another directory.

Please note that on our TOS we explain "Site-Sift reserves the right to edit titles and descriptions, and move submissions from page to page, and category to category."

Site Sift is not for everyone. We have refunded/refussed to list sites and will continue if the quality is poor.

For the few sites that have titles that do not comply with our submission guidelines we will be going through all X,XXX categories and addressing the issues.

    Thanks,

    Stuart

I see what the editor did now. Here is what is listed on your site:

    Copyright © 2002-2005 house.info

Well, the editor that listed your site was correct! I will send you an email with my other thoughts.
