My first Adsense click

No, I don't ask my friends to click on the ads. It happens naturally. Heck, I didn't even post my website's url here, coz i know you guys most probably won't click the ads! (I won't).

Anyway the clicks are coming in now...

The only problem is that I don't know which page is it coming from. I have setup the channels but somehow it is not working properly. Any ideas on how to set it up properly? I've read the google help on setting up channels a couple of times and followed all the instruction...wonder why it isn't working.

 

What CTR will get you banned? The first I put my adsense ads on a site I had a 150% CTR, and I seriously don't know how the heck that happened! Well at least the second day it went down...

 

I only gave adsense a try when my site was generating some good traffic. I think i got 40 clicks in the first day. Today i got my highest click of $3.20 wooo-hooo!

Accounts don't get banned based soley on CTR.

 

It's not in the CTR but in the frequency of an IP or the originator of the clicks in a per minute or per second basis.

Obviously, since you got 150% CTR someone could have clicked a lot of times from your adsense blocks. Google will see it as fraud clicks though will investegate it. Normally valid clicks does not happen several times in one minute or few seconds...

 

I happened to get 250% CTR, just because someone visited the site and clicked on all ads I presume.

No problems since then, after all that was out of my control, therefore legitimate and those CTR% mean nothing when you have very little traffic and yuor numbers are low in general.

When Google bans there usually is a lot more than just that.
