My FIRST Attempt on Adsense

Hi there,

I have a site, www.dealwithtech.com which i started 3 months ago and right now it's earning slow but good money. It's reaching USD100 in a few days time and can't wait to have my cheque from Google.

Tell me new ideas on how to improve my site? Example ads placing. Hope to hear from the adsense gurus in BHW.

The site looks nice. The ads are very prominent without been too 'in your face'. I wouldn't change much if I were you 'if it ain't broke don't fix it'. What is your average CTR by the way? Are you getting decent levels of traffic?

If your CTR is good then all you need to do is try getting your traffic levels up. The only way to REALLY make money using Adsense is through traffic. So promote your site more, get it noticed using as many different methods as possible.

 

hi, thank you so much for the encouragement! my ctr is pretty low though only about 1.82% :/ so the clicks are pretty low in cash.

as for traffic, my daily pageviews is about 1000. trying hard to get more traffic. any tips you can share with me on getting more traffic through tools or backlinking?

Clean looking site, however you will have more luck with text links rather than images, try that and watch your earnings grow, Good luck

That's a pretty low CTR you're getting, I usually get a CTR in between the 10% and %30 range, but my sites only get a couple visitors per day so maybe that's why.

Try placing the sidebar ad over the 125x125 buttons, that should definitely increase your CTR.

 

Thats some good stats though for earning.

 

I've removed those 125x125 ads to try out higher CTR, thanks for the advice.

It increased guys! the CTR increased.

it's now at 3.19%. 6.33$ ecpm.

i hope it's the removal of the 125ads that helps.

 

Yups, I am completely agree with zinghana.. try your luck with txt links rather than images..

HI! A lot of articles and guides. You have a lot of content but you are not putting enough attention into relevance. Relevance is the key to Adsense earnings. Make Google understand what your website is all about by utilizing SEO. Your organic rankings will also benefit from this..

 

Glad to hear that you are getting 100 within few days, my site is taking 4-5 months to reach 100

Very good attempt. At first you may not succeed. But ultimately you will get a huge return if you work hard.

 

The clicks have increased after i rearranged some ads, and now i included a working Job search section.
