My first web template(Need Reviews)

ummm man. honestly. did you think someone would copy your template? and you put word sample all over? also background looks really bad and buttons on top look like bunch of stones. sorry but you need to go find some tutorials and work your way from there.
I am not being mean. Just giving you a reality check. but good try for first time.

doesn't really look inviting.
No brand building - cause there's no space for logo.
Background too dark..and too dominating
hardly space for content...
In my opinion would scare potential customers...who would click away after few seconds

I think it needs a lot of fixing up to do and I think the dark colors in the template isn't very welcoming with the dark red and black. It reminds me of an ad website that has been left for decades, however I think you can fix it up by adding a few of the generic colors that most web pages use like white. Also needs some fixing up to do, because like Magical said, you can't really fit content on there and it just doesn't look like a professional done template.

 

actually you should work on it more.. did you read tutorials about web designing in photoshop?? there are a lot of website about tutorials..

I can't see a template here, I just see the word SAMPLE written all over a busy background. Sometimes it gets hard to read.

Maybe if there was less going on behind the word Sample I'd be able to read it better. Try looking up good legibility guidelines so you can make sure you have enough contrast.

Oh, and it is also semi-transparent which makes it harder to read - might wanna boost it up a little. But having red as a colour choice certainly makes for an exciting image!

I think that you should rethink the structure of the design. And give for each box some purpose, because I don't see how could you use those "boxes" effectively. I'd also use some brighter colors.

 

Like RAINBOW colours! brilliant idea Volt (no pun intended)

 

Thanx for the feedback guys, will make another template soon, with some good colour contrast, some professional look and with a better structure...!

 

I guess that will need a huge change for that web template...search fro some great portfolio or web template such as CssCream and you will get what I mean by that..

Im not sure if your joking, but if your not (even though i cant create templates, apart for wordpress myself yet) il just be straight and say i think its not very good.

As suggested its even harder to look at it properly with sample plastered all over it so heavily.
