My first website, are my ads ok?

So I made my first website. http://www.thegermz.com and I put ads on my footer and sidebar, I was wondering whether they are ok or not. So please answer, thanks.

 

I'm no expert but i wouldn't recommend putting them in a footer. Reason being is that people generally may not tend to see them all the way down there.

 

Griffo is correct. You better put them somewhere in content.

I asked some of my friends and they told me that they could see the ads perfectly when reading content. (I got scared because I could not see them as I have adblock and had not noticed I have adsense blocked) I can see the ads perfectly with IE.

 

Well, you asked for preview and you got it. If you change anything or not it's up to you.

Just one tip; try to change permalink formation to .../%postname%/

Ps: I see ads appearing normally.
