My New Biology Blog ! Need Some Ideas Please (Rep+)

Hello Dear Friends !

I started yesterday a blog about my favorite branch of science , Biology!

My blog is located at Study Biology Online. All the content is written by me so it is fresh and not copied from any other website ! Currently i am adding 6 new articles per day

I would like to ask you about my Adsense Placement , is that okay ? What about the colors ?

Also if you may tell me some ways how to advertise this new blog i will be really happy !

Seems good, but if you want to increase clickthrough rate on a site, I just started using ad backgrounds on my website, and the results have been amazing.

Check it out. If you like it, you are more than welcome to use the idea.

I don't know if its against Google's ToS or not. I am currently awaiting a reply.

You can put one more ad on site. Most people like one ad under first post on each page.

You can have on left hand side if you want instead but they have lower click rate. I like body of page to be wider and not so much border width.

Submit blog to Rss feed sites. You can ping site or add site manually to more sites. I like to add site manually first then ping when i update site.

 

nice blog.. but the header is unrelated to biology, you should replace it with a nice biology drawing! anyway its just my opinion, and i also think that you should add another adsense block somewhere in the right or under the first post.

For the ad color, I would change the orange to black instead.. for better blending. With all of those colors, they kind of stand out..

 

nice blog but seriously all of that info is in text books Maybe, you can use an article manager instead of blog to organize the different topics. Just a suggestion. Otherwise, good work!

Maybe you write about all the new stuff that is presently being researched.

 

Your header's a little too large -- I'd recommend making it smaller so the ad and your content appear more prominent on the page (especially for first-time visitors). As far as places to advertise your site, I'd find science- and biology-related directories and submit your site to them. Also look for related blogs in your subject area, and comment on their sites (which gives you a chance to place your link on their site).

1) your header doesn't reflect your side.
2) As being a biology student , u need to bit explanation...rather then point to point.
Other things are Ok

 

Personally, I would remove the Google Search box & put it on the right hand side just under the "About" section.

In that place where you had the search box, I would add another adsense ad.

 

LOl, True, but lats face it, all information can be found in some other place in some form or another.
