One of my rabbits took off when I was a kid. That was pretty rough. Never found him again. Back then I was devestated, but retrospectively I can see how ungrateful that bunny was. We've treated him like gold, and he just bounced the moment he could find a hole in the fence. Not sure whatever happened to him, but whatever it was should be a story featured on Bunny TV to tell rabbits worldwide that it's rough out there and nice owners should be appreciated more ;)

Hodge my cat run away once (yeah well this was a special not hated cat)

It was gone a month..it came back neutered with painted nails. So even if someone snatched them..I am sure they will give them a good home..really you must think good thoughts.

Before we were married, my husband had a young lab. He jumped through a screened window and ran away for 4 days. Then he came back home all dirty and with burrs in his fur, happy like he'd just had the most fun of his life.

Hoping you have a happy ending too.

I want to say how much I'm sorry again.

I lost two dogs that died less than a year apart, mother first, for different reasons.

I thought I didn't want anymore dogs for a while and then my father and my brother surprised me with a new adorable puppy.

I love her and although I have not at all forgotten the others, I don't have a dog missing in my life, which would suck.

I see all my previous boxer dogs in this one.

I would wait and see if something nice happens for a reasonable amount of time, then look for another puppy, or a couple in your case.

BTW, you already greened me, non need for more.

Good luck Hodge, you might find them at your doorstep anytime, who knows...

    :)

Do you have dog chipping over there? It won't help locate your dogs but if anyone picks up your pet and takes it to a vet, it can be scanned and you would come up as the registered owner.

Newspaper ads, lamp post billing, noticeboards in supermarkets, schools, police stations, vets, pet stores, dog rescue homes ... don't give up yet Hodge. Somebody will have seen your pups and perhaps have taken them in while they are looking for you. Now you need to be finding those people through whatever means are available to you.

i had my 2 Rottis in my flat in before in sweden. Off course i walked them everyday in the parks but they liked the soffa. One day i was moving my office home with a new soffar and the old one out. The dogs was about 2 years and had never ran away from me before. The moving guys went ahead 10 min and i follow but then i came to the flat i could not see the dogs. I asked them if they seen the 2 big dogs and they had not. I guess ran under the soffa when they carry it out and down the stairs and out. I was scared beucase they do not like other dogs and if they get hold off one small one they like to play with it rottis style. In Sweden they can kill your dogs if they missbehave so i ran out off course and i found Boss just 20 meter from the home walking in the shopping center wanted cuddle with people. But Hugo was gone, i lived in the middle of town with shooping malls and stuff all around and they have a security company for all this places and i know them so i gave them a call. After about 20 min they called me back Hugo was down in Mc donalds begging for burgers :) The staff gave him some beucase they wanted him to be happy and not bite the customers and i went to pick him up. I thinks thats the only time they ran away from me. Hope you find your dogs soon :)

Still no word on the puppies Hodge? I can't believe someone would just keep puppies that are running around free. Don't they realise that they belong to someone?

Yeah it is bad. The one time I lost a dog and never got them back, I assumed someone just kept him, even though he was well tagged and identified.

It is very disappointing to say the least.

It truly may well be they were dognapped either by person who wanted them for themself or for sale. It is despicable either way.

Yeah it looks like someone kept them. We haven't heard anything from the flyiers we put up, never saw them by going all over the neighborhoods, and no animal service has seen them.
