    Hey people,
My site http://www.geniushackers.com gets 40,000 uniques in the last 15 days but only 4-5$ adsense revenue each day.I think even if 100 people click on ads which would be approx 5% of the total 2000 in a day,I would easily get around 50$ a day. What is the problem? Can anyone tell?

    Those are some interesting numbers:

So about $75 in 40,000 impressions is an eCPM of nearly $2.00. That's not that bad.

You're looking for a 5% CTR and nearly $0.50 CPC, both of which are quite high. As others have said, you need to do some work to improve your CTR, and a $0.50 CPC is pretty unlikely. Most sites are in the $0.05-0.10 range.

All links should be in the same colour and underlined.

Looks like you've already implemented all advice above. You should probably see an increase. Nice site you have there. You have the 125's on there too on the upper right. I can't think of why you'd be suffering low CTRs at this point.

In my opinion, you need bigger adds and need them above the fold. Could hardly find you current google adds.

You need more ads on the page to maximize profits. I would place the maximum allowed.

That's not always best. The highest paying ads are displayed in the first ad block in your HTML code, then descending down the page. If you have an ad on the left that gets a lower CTR than an ad in the middle of your page, your overall earnings might increase if you remove the ad on the left. Doing that would move the higher paying ads to the ad block with the highest CTR.

I did that on one of my sites and it made a big difference. The page looks better now (fewer ads) AND earns more money.

Though my linked unit loads before any other ad unit its cpm is very low :(.

Can you people please share your cpm

Mine is always less than 2

The key is not target a lot of clicks. I mean, you could have a 8% CTR and still not be making enough. Try and optimize your site for high paying keywords. Do keyword research and find out what keywords are high paying in your industry. Then you will experience an increase in your earnings. Trust me when i say some keywords can target adsense ads worth $1 and $2 per click. Ofcourse there's the issue of smartpricing. But that's for a different post.

I had a quick look at your site and you have about 3-4 ads belonging to "review only" sites.....these are low-paying ads that pay you somewhere between .01-.03 cents per click. I am guessing you have other ads thatare owned by parked-only domains ( another source of low paying ads)

here's good resource that will show you how to filter these ads:

    I hope this helps
