My stumbleupon traffic spike hit...now what?

    So after quite some time of stumbling content - the spike finally hit.

    i worked hard with www.suexchange.com to get a decent amount of stumbles, and this weekend I got about 3000 hits from stumbleupon alone.

    How does one keep the ball rolling with stumbleupon after the initial hit?

    Stay on top of your niche. As soon as news hits the streets, get some kind of article posted on your site about it and get it bookmarked.

    Don't do what I didn't do. I got a spike a year ago and I sat there and did nothing.

    Big mistake.

    Write something unique in order to get these ppl to come back for more. Keep changing content.

    This, because a lot of these visitors may check out your home page. They want to see a new article that will entice them to read, and you'll gain a lot more pageviews and RSS subscribers. If you add a "digg this" counter on the blog, you may even get a few diggs!

    nice work bud, what i would be looking to do is get blog posts from bloggers who are well known stumblers, also work hard within the stumble community to build up a solid freinds list
