My Website, NO TRAFFIC

    Its been a long time since I posted on this forum, my last post was an auction for all my websites, which was made in a stupid attempt to 'give up on adsense', but then I had a change of mind, and I am going to put time into developing my sites (sorry to whoever won that auction, I wont make the mistake of listing somthing I am not going to sell again)

    this is my main website www.celtic-crazy.com, its a football site, and its been running for about 6 months.

    Obviously I need to create more text content on the site, but can anyone give me any tips on how to bring more traffic in via search engines? I dont get hardly any traffic from search, and the site has been up for a good 6 months.

    Also, I am happy with the way the site looks, but In my head I think the site has not been made properly (see the way it loads the images ect)
    I am not a great web desighner, and that site was made in photoshop, then sliced and imported into dreamweaver.

    Would you recommend making future sites with a cms (joomla)?

    ANY TIPS WILL BE GREATLY APPRIEATED!

    You need more backlinks. Google will rank you higher if there are links to you from other sites. Get as many as you can...buy them, trade links, whatever you can do. And you'll see more visitors coming from the search engines. Good luck.

    Ok, I will try to some backlinks.

    How will I go about doing this though? just ask webmasters for link exchanges? or put the link out on forums/blogs?

    Quickest way is to buy some through Text Link Ads. Next way is to ask for link exchanges with webmasters with similar sites as yours. Make sure they have some Page Rank...

    Your site is primarily links to other sites. Google doesn't consider this site as providing any original content, and therefore won't rank it well -- which means little traffic.

    I suggest adding some original content at the top of the page, with emphasis on the keywords for which you want to be ranked.

    I think your site speed affects it's low traffic

    no one visits slow sites, try to get a decent webhost

    Exchange/buy links with other soccer/sport sites or even entertainment sites. Submit your sites on some directories. You can do these on link exchange/link slae and directory submission sections of this forum.
