What do you guys think of the ads on my website?

    http://www.irangoals.com

I am a new member here and after visiting this website I immediately changed some ads on my website today and I saw immediately an increase in the clicks.

    Still not much..

    CTR = 1.28%
There were 5 clicks and 392 page impressions so far.

    Any tips, comments?

Edit: btw when viewing an article, for example:
    http://www.irangoals.com/2007/01/15/video-atalanta-livorno/

Above the comments also a banner will appear. I was wondering if this is allowed?

i think these ads stand out from the rest of the site....and you would know by now that ADS have become a blind eye for most of the visitors.

The idea is to have these ads look like part of your website

So basically I need to make sure it fits my layout (colors etc..) right? The thing is that right now when visiting my website you will notice the long banner immediately, but when I fit it into the layout I think it won't get noticed this easily. But I am not an expert on this at all so please tell me if I am completely wrong.

There is a very big white area under the top logo. I don't know what it is for
Also for the vertical ad, I think you need to blend the ads with your site, meaning to have them take the same theme of your site (specially colors)

I think there's a saying that goes 'red and green should never be seen'. Never was a truer word spoken. I know you have chosen the colors to match the Iranian flag, but the ads just look terrible. Most people try and blend them with the background.

I have changed the color of it. Not all colors are available so I think this is one of the better alternatives. Any opinions about it now?

It is better if you change the color of your horizontal adlinks to match your navigation panel.

oh! it is back up. Looks good, I recognize the wordpress template you modified ;) OH man, when you shrink the screen down in firefox your adsense goes under your main section. I think you need to place the adsense ads in your inner divs.

I love the Ads being served up: Jewish + Iranian + Date AND Soccer Video coverege in the same block! :)

Thanks and you are right about the adsense banner that goes under the main section. It wasn't like this yesterday but I did it on purpose.

I am using a <div id="ads">Google adsense code</div> code for the skyscraper banner but the problem yesterday was that I had this div code above the <div id="container"> code of the theme I am using. Everything was working well in Firefox but when I wanted to test my site under IE everything next to the skyscraper banner would go down when I resized the screen horizontally.

I don't know why that happened and I couldn't solve it so I placed the ads div under the closed </div> tag of the container. I had to use a margin-top: -2200px; to get it on the top though.

However if you or anyone else know how to solve this in a good way please tell me :)

And nothing wrong with the links you get :D

It looks good now. I would match the link color to match the same link color of my sites links... but that's it.
