Lately, google has emailed us to implement 300 by 250 ads. Immediately, i implemented it in my arcad sites. And the following is what i have learnt after implementing the two large 300 by 250 side by side

    - CTR increase by two folds
    - the left banner received the higher clicks compare to the left ones.
    - the earning is higher for LARGE banner compare to the one just below it (468 by 90).

    So here is my suggestion:

    - Implement the LARGE banner on the LEFT. You will notice your earning increases a LOT!.

    -the end-

Ps: now, i get around 10$ daily from around 6-7$ daily.

You want to send your visitor away as quickly as possible, right?

in fact there is no creativity in using two squares and a banner at the face of the visitor.

But your type of website warrants it. A suggestion, you can place the squares side by side (CTR will be low i agree)

this is what i have gone through and i hope everyone could learnt from it. I have seen many people complaint about their cost per click is so low. This is one of the suggestion that I think would be best helping them to get higher cost per click.

by the way, my average visitors stay as usual and there's no sign of losing visitors. The arcade type of sites usually have a higher return visitors and hence I think the implementation will not hurt the total number of visitors.

good experiment with the rectangle banner but keep in mind the topic. I don't think I could get 9 different advertisers for mine.
