Anyone have any idea how much it cost to advertise on myspace?

I think the best way to find out is to contact them directly. The last time I heard anything, it was in the thousands but not sure anymore. As competition has increased from sites such as Facebook, they may have lowered their prices a bit.

You can get adsense ads on MySpace - but generally they are the worst converting ads you can imagine - at least in my experience.

You can do MySpace marketing for free if you think out side the box... hint... MySpace Groups.

I sent an email to myspace waiting 3 weeks for reply to advertise on Myspace Per Month $30,000

    This was as off 10/12/2007

So whether it gone up or not i do not know.

Better off just getting a profile that is interesting and marketing it and sending out comments because in the end that $30,000 will be next to impossible to recoup unless you are selling a product that is in pretty high demand anyways.

Some places such as myspace increase there advertising prices in Nov-Dec because of the amount of advertisers due to christmas

I agree with you on that one, lot of time and effort though but ill rather do that than forking out $30,000

Yeah it is a lot of work but there are people who don't even make 30k in a year so for most people they would rather work for 3 months to get same amount of press/exposure with a lot less spent.
