Myspace for marketing?

    Hello everyone,

I am new to this site but not old to selling online.

I used to sell little things but now am trying to start a business.

So, I went to myspace and made an account where I sell things. I have about 600 friends in three days..

So what are your thoughts on Myspace as a potential marketing tool?

    Blessings!

Very limited. It use to be good but they have cracked down on links in bulletins and they ban quick for spam. If it is teen oriented, you may have some luck but I gave up on MYSpace for much marketing. I have 4000 friends and just do not bother.

    Really? I have been trying..

And I have been getting a tad but impatient because as soon as I post a bulletin...Boom, it is already on the second page. Grrrrr...!!!!

But I still see potential..just do not know how to access it.

You can, of course, make money, but very little.

The time you put into it you will be making less than minimum wage and working far more hours.

But, if you post there anyway, you might as well try to sell something.

It all depends on your niche and you're trying to do. I run a small events site and make decent adsense revenue through traffic coming from a myspace account.

it all depends on the friends you have.

if you have friends who are active and check myspace every other hour, you might get some good traffic.

if you have friends doing the same thing as you, they arnt going to take notice of your bulletins because they are trying the same thing.

Also the age, judge your product on what age you think will buy it. then add friends that are of this age.
