MySpace Profile with 25k+ Friends

Discussion in 'General Business' started by ibnuasad, Feb 10, 2007.

I am in the process of acquiring a MySpace Profile/Account that has 25k+ friends.

Usually, people sell MySpace Profiles for $10/1000friends. If I were to sell the MySpace Profile....
    Would you buy it?
    For how much?
Or Would You Rather buy Bulletins for $4?

Please note (especially Admins and Mods) that I am NOT selling anything on this thread.

EDIT: I just found out that the Email of the MySpace Profile cannot be changed (password can still be changed) but I'm still trying to acquire it. Will this in any way affect the price/value of the MySpace Profile if I decided to sell it?

    1) I would not buy it
    2) If it was to be on sale.. I think the price would range from $200 - $300
    3) I would rather buy bulletins. $4 for 2 bulletins would be a great deal;) Or even one!

A 5 figured myspace account is always a risky deal. It has the tendency to be disabled by the myspace staff if they detect something fishy.

@8everything: Thanks for your comments :)

@SSH: There is a risk in everything. We just have to learn how to evaluate and minimize the risks involved :)

Risk is a factor.. but.. just an idea.. (since I think $4 a post is too cheap!!) I would suggest charging more for your posts (even $20) and posting fewer ads. Lowers the risk and you make more $$$

(P.S: What i noticed was that advertisers like myspace bulletins from accounts who do not send these ad bulletins a lot.. because if they do, lots of people will ignore it right?)

@8everything: Thats a great idea too :) And its true that once your friends notice that you are posting a lot of CRAP bulletins, they'll start to ignore your bulletins.

What I'm planning is that I will post a very informational non-advertistment type of bulletin each 1-2 days that will benefit my friends. I assume, this way I can build trust with my friends and the probability for them to read my bulletins will be much more higher :)

    Exactly!

Here's some tips that I've tried
    - Post on your account: (bulletins)
comments 4 comments (meaning if they comment you, you comment them, myspace "whores".. thats the technical term for that, loves it)
    - Pics for pics (picture comments for pics)
    - Saying whats up? Had a great time last night blah blah (stuff about YOU lol)
    - Also, when there are b-days up, just pop in and comment happy b-day
    - randomly comment people's profile with (what's up? hello? nice profile.) some vague comments like that when you have time

It's not hard to maintain a good myspace layout at all;) good luck!!

AND it benefits you because having more comments on your profile = most trust-able and seems like you're a real human lol

$2? $5? 25k is an extremely small amount of friends.
