Have you ever read any of his books? What a thrilling writer he was, he had a natural gift which cannot be taught. He also was a philanthropist and built a plane landing strip to help the local Sherpas gain easier access to food and supplies. He also built a school for the local kids not far from the base of Mt. Everest.

He has an extraordinary life-story, being a construction worker and a nightclub security guard. For me, like Emmanuel Swedenborg, he is one of those rare "spiritual geniuses" out there.
