No doubt that is true, they are just not a great team.

For the #2 team is the west, they are not too impressive. Lakers are #7 and have played better at every position, with the exception of pt guard.

Without Tim Thomas's huge game 1, the suns would be down 3-0. Nash is great, a fun regular season style. The problem is that in the playoffs, defense wins games. Every posession is contested, the chuck up 3's every 6 seconds has been tried ad nauseum in the NBA and has never worked to produce championship teams.

Seriously, if the Suns did get past the Lakers, they have zero chance of winning a title with no defense in the paint.

Since I am a huge mavericks fan http://www.damavs.com, I have to be pretty happy with the way things have gone so far.

If the Mavs can close out and sweep Memphis tonight, the rest of the playoffs set up very well. Sacramento and San Antonio are beating the crap out of each other, which helps the Mavericks out a lot in the second round. Then on the other side you potentially have the Clippers and the Lakers facing off for the chance to go to the Western Conference Finals. Things are setting up very well for the Mavericks to get to the NBA Finals this year.

Personally I am cheering for every other series to go to 7 games besides the Mavericks series. :)

Being a Steve Nash fan, it was sad to see him make two key mistakes down the stretch that cost Phoenix the game yesterday. While you don't necessarily expect your Superstar to make every big play down the stretch, you also don't expect them to make two huge mistakes that cost you the game.

If im not mistaken Amare underwent surgery for his two knees... i think it's a microfracture surgery or something... kidd, kenyon martin, etc.. were slowed down by this injury so it might take while for amare to get back into his old powerful self... hehehe how come you like amare and not shawn marion or other flashy players or bigmen? why him?

J-kidd and k-mark had their microfracture surgery in older age. I think amare will heal faster than them. Hope he won't be like c-webb.

i still can't figure how shawn marion shoot....no one shoot like him
