Corey, I think caliguy80 does more promoting for you than any customer I have ever seen for a business.

I can completely see why stymie would think that he works with you because he promotes you in every discussion forum on the internet. If I hadn't seen caliguy80's first post's I would think the same thing. Even having seen his first posts, it is still hard to believe that he doesn't have some affiliation with loud commerce.

And to caliguy80, have you visited stymie's website http://www.merchant-account-services.org. He has one of the best resources about merchant accounts in existance. He knows more than any person that I have met on the internet about merchant accounts. You obviously have seen him here and on sitepoint, because I have seen you post in the same discussions as him. Saying something like "It seems that you have a grudge against others and just want to speak bad about people." is completely out of place.

I don't know a huge amount about how gateways work, but the company I'm with uses PSI Gate. It was about $100 to setup, and then about $40/month. But I don't know if they have that mobile capability.

Those of you who have a merchant account other than Paypal and have used Paypal before do you think these other merchant accounts are better and why? It seems to me Paypal is anal about little things. Several times we had customers that we couldn't accept their credit cards for no apperant reason. I've supported Paypal and I still think they are a great company especially for people who are getting started. It seems to me that I'm just growing out of Paypal.

Disappointing that there has not been a response to your question. But I agree with your analysis that you may be growing out of Paypal. It's a natural progression and you just might be there.
