Need advice on celebrity related site.

    Hi,

    I'm planning to start a few (10, 20) small celebrity sites that will be managed by real people and updated frequently with news & such.

    Do you have any knowledge about how profitable this is?

    I know that google adsense doens't have high paying keywords on celebrity sites, but maybe i'm wrong.

    Any thoughts will be appreciated.

    Its not greatly profitable. People visiting those sites usually come to see some info, steal some photos then leave. Of course some will click, but they aren't actively seeking to buy something.
    If they turn popular, consider adding merchandise affiliate links (posters, books etc). This can prove more profitable than adsense.

    The adsense is generally a lot lower than other types of traffic but there is a ton of celeb traffic out there so it evens out somewhat.

    I made $108 2 days ago and $86 1 day ago and another $68 today on a celeb site launched 2 weeks ago.

    That's what I've heard. Celebrity website are v. profitable. You need to target the rights words though, but that applies to every niche.
