Need Advice on Gallery CMS

    Hi,

    I am wracking my brains out here thinking of an ideal open source application where I can allow registered users to upload images or embed youtube clips, while allowing the media to be rated and commented on.

    Any thoughts?

    Something lite that gets the job done would be great!

    http://gallery.menalto.com/ I have not used it in years but even back then it worked ok. In order for folks to upload videos you need to have ffmpeg installed on your server. This is not necessarily common on regular hosting plans. This will however allow you to do what you want.

    Gallery.menalto.com is the king. It can do the things you asked with the plug-ins and they have a very good customers support forum. Plus many amazing templates, I've used it for the past 3-4 years and definitely recommend it.
