Need advice on setting ecommerce website

    Hey all,
I need some advice and I know some of you will be able to send me on the right track.

My girlfriend has been selling art glass on Ebay and we've been talking about setting up a website to complement it. She knows nothing about coding etc. I do, but don't want to spend massive amounts of efforts on it.

The question is, in your opinion, is it better to pay 40$/month for a yahoo store + the fees, or set up an osCommerce website and still pay fees? How much of a hassle is it to set up osCommerce + paypal/moneybookers payment + customizing it?

    Opinions appreciated.

Hi, I do like the idea of using a yahoo store but fees can be annoying. My site www.honeystream.com is all mine. The only fee I pay is paypal. The only problem is that websites are expensive to make. I had pay someone from india to do mine. I think if you find a good designer you can afford go that way. Whats good about site that offer the store service is the website ranking. You still have to do seo to help get your site out there. This is probably not much help but if you questions feel free to post.
