Need advice on W-8 form

I was asked to provide appropriate W-8 form.
    For Non-US persons and entities: A signed W-8 form (W-8BEN, W-8CE, W-8ECI, W-8EXP, or W-8IMY).

So, there are 5 different W-8 forms (W-8BEN, W-8CE, W-8ECI, W-8EXP, and W-8IMY). I would really appreciate if anyone advices what W-8 form I should use.

    I am Non-US citizen/resident and I am a private person (not company).

    Thanks

    you need a w8 form

you can get a sample from their website, whoever asked you for this form.

ask them to send you a sample of it.

w8 form = telling the usa tax authorities that you don't owe them anything.

I believe you need a W-8BEN form. Do a quick Google search with these words, "W8 form for non us residents and non companies". Best of luck to you, mate.

Yes, you're likely right. I'm from Canada and use this version: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw8ben.pdf

I am not a company, same as you and this is the form I use for working for online U.S. companies. I'm not sure how things might be different if you're located elsewhere.
