Although I am not from India, I am a little concerned about the fact that most DP buyers are specifying that job applicants should be from India. Granted, this is a willing buyer-willing-seller forum, but you could be passing up quality work, simply because of pricing; it is common for Indian writers to charge ridiculously low rates; No Pun Intended! Kindly do not water down this great content creation forum.... amjustsaying

 

I do understand your concern but whom to hire depends on various factors and charges is one of the factor. How could you say Indian people who are charging less for their services are delivering low quality stuff?
They charge less fee because the expenses they are incurring to deliver the service is comparatively lower than those of American/UK or any other country. Being a buyer (that includes you as well) I try to find economical service provider. When I say economical, it refers to good service as lower price.

However we do have lots of people who want premium service and ready to pay much more than what YOU charge for this service. It totally depends on buyer's buying capacity. I am sure, here you can find hell lots of service providers who charge way much higher than you do, in that case, should I say you are providing lower quality stuff as compare to them?

I welcome suggestions but when it comes to racism, I just don't like it.

PS: The reasons behind hiring someone from India are several. When you don't have any idea why someone specify a particular thing, please refrain from posting comments that he/she may find offensive. FYI- I have problems with making cross border payments and that's one of the reason why I need someone from India.

 

How exactly does being Indian make it cheaper to write an article? It makes no sense to say that Indian writers are incurring less fees to create content, and to answer this question: How could you say Indian people who are charging less for their services are delivering low quality stuff? Honestly, especially when it comes to communication, writing, etc. I would say that English speakers from the US, UK and Australia deliver much higher quality work the majority of the time. Sorry, that's not racism, that has just been my experience.

P.S. Making "cross border" payments with PayPal is pretty straight forward.

 

Do you know scenario here in India? do you know how paypal works in India? If you do, you wouldn't say that. In India, if you want to pay someone from paypal, you must have to pay it through credit card via Paypal. The money you get in your paypal get auto withdrawn to your local bank account. Still if you have funds in paypal, you cant' use that fund to make payment. In spite of having fund in paypal, you need to spend money from your credit card via paypal.

This is your decision that people from the countries you have mentioned give quality but I can showcase several examples wherein the people from said countries are worst. It has been discussed in FEEDBACK section of DP and the people from the countries itself confessed they commit mistakes.

Actually, the OP is true. I am starting a blog and i am choosing indian writers for first few articles. it is because their cheap cost in writing the articles compared to others. I won't say all the writers have same good quality and some even just copy it from other sites and spin it, but there are some who do it from scratch and it is really good.

Its just the the economic status, Indian writers can do it for cheap because the money is enough for their living, but American or European writers need more money for their time foe their living
