    hi
i`m attending to start my own blog, so i got my internet mastercard yesterday.
the problem is..when i saw the plan with (6.95/mo !! etc) i thought that the payment will be monthly!
so i choose the lowest limit of my card (50$)
but these kind of plans is annual !(which will be around 83$ !)
so do i have to ask the bank to change the limit to (100$)
or i could register with a monthly payment plan?!
note that i need a domain too!

    what should i do?!
    waiting

I really reccomend steadfast.net. Super uptime and support. Before going with a host, make sure you do a search at webhostingtalk.com first. Good luck.

I like hostgator.com and they allow monthly payment plan instead of annual :)

Can't believe I am recommending this (being that I am a web host after all) but ... why not just get a free Wordpress site? Free, as in, costs nothing. You can get one at wordpress.com :)

    Just buy a monthly plan.

A domain would cost you - let's say - $10. And hosting, $8-$10 on a decent one (I use Hostgator hosting and it's pretty good).

I'm sure that in a couple of months, when you run out of cash in your credit card, the cash you earned from your site will come in handy! ;)

For free, you would be better going with blogspot.com (blogger.com).

Sorry, but I have to disagree there ... I have blogs on both wordpress.com and blogger/blogspot, and wordpress.com has much more in terms of functionality, plug-ins, SEO, easy feed capability, templates and layout flexibility...

Avoid free blog hosting. There are too many stories around of how blogs were unexpectedly shut down by blogger, wordpress, etc.
