    Hi guys

I lanced a new website. I sell products. I was wondering if is any process to let the world know about my site. I head about the email marketing. I understood a little but the confusion is how will I get the email addresses?

    Any suggestion is welcomed.:)

A good place to start would be Google or Bing Webmaster tools. Get your site listed with both and use the tools to analyze your new website to see what it needs.

Does buying fans actually work? Is this just a way to get traffic but not from people looking to buy because it is not targeted traffic?

Looks like a sales promo. Not sure who it would help to promote another site.

    Hi

Yes it does work aslong as your website is connected to your business or has products on it.The more likes or followers someone has the more people want to look at it.You can get targeted traffic but it is abit more expensive.

You can also use social networking sites to help get traffic and increase popularity. I use twitter and facebook the most.

depending on what the product line is, you could write in relevant forums that discuss those product requirements, uses or availability.

Do SEO and try to rank for the keywords that you want to rank for. And then for further emphasis build a good solid link building campaign that would really help your cause.

I think you can try to set up a facebook fan page and attract some fans to your product.
