    Try to put Ads between the posts! Make the title colour from the ads the same like your internal title links colour! And the URL from the ads make it Grey!

    How about moving the sidebar ad unit lower at the same level with the forum content. Maybe you can also move the top horizontal ad unit in between each forum section. See whether that helps.

    I would use a horizontal banner above the sign in area.
