Need help with Social Network site (PHPFOX)

Hi all

about 2 months ago I purchased phpfox and have created a social networking site but so far only have few real registered members and I'm starting to think maybe this wasn't such a good idea as for the software I paid close to $400 for (phpfox) and few more bux on add ons so. Income wise I have only made a few bucks on the site in 2 months!

I've been doing some reading around DP and have started to write some blogs and submit them to digg and a few others as well I've try to promote my site on some forums(signature)

so the question is should I invest some money and purchased ads (google)
or some kind of "paid" marketing solution? or move on sell it

I used a free script as well. Why do you pay for that?

 

First advice I would give is to post your website so people could take a look and click on it.

 

Mmmm give me a look at this, I think I can help you out - PM me if you want. I will need the URL and to see what the members accounts and functions are. I can get blogs from 0-1000 visitors in just 2 days LoL.

 

The best advice you will ever get on DP:

1. Approach website projects as a business.
2. Like for any business, do your market research or hire a company to do it for you.
3. Analyze the research or hire a company to do it for you, which should bring you a clear picture if it's profitable, or not.
4. Prepare a business model, optimize it, create new ideas and improve it.
5. You should always target business models that gives more for the investment cost and business models that can be expended and connected to be used with other business models.
