Need Help.

I just recently add google ads to my forum. One under all post and I got about 175 Page impressions and got about 50 clicks, and it seems I have earned $0.00 so far.

What am I do wrong?

 

Were those clicks legitimate? i.e. did you clicked on your own ads?

Also, there is a strong possibility that media-partners bot hasn't crawled your site yet so those ads that are being served are PSA's.

 

I dont click my own ads, not at all.

I think they have, When the Page refresh or a new topic comes up there are no PSA, just regular ads.

 

It would be better if you drop an email to the Adsense support and explain your situation to them.

Do please take another closer look at your stats before doing so.

 

Hmmmm your CTR is more than 30% at a go ....
Adsense may have otherwise determined that they weren't valid clicks i.e they were made by foreign visitors, or the page didn't load, or something along the likes.

 

Well, Should I just ignore it and just see how it goes? I mean I did have a high CTR because my forum has been open for a while with active memebers. So I guess they jusy think there invaild?

 

whats your sites URL? is it indexed in google?

 

I hope when you said "under all post" you don't actually mean there is a Google ad under every post. I.e. if you have a thread with 15 posts, you would have 15 ads. Can you clarify?

Just post the URL anyway. We'll cut/paste it. And 30% CTR is pretty high, but if it's the first day, your visitors might just be really curious what the heck these things are and start clicking.

 

I think they where, since I try to get my site keyword rich. I mean I follow the TOS too and I am unsure why they havent counted anything.

Yes I have seen thoe pages too, the thing is that with these statistics below:

30% CTR is too good to be true that even for a forum, recently launched & with much less traffic.

 

I am not sure why its so high, I just add a mod to add adsense below the first post in every theard.

If you think about it, 19 memebers active in the forum refreshing and viewing new topics and lurkers can bring in impressions easy. And clicking if they see something they like or didnt mean too I am sure that can bring up the ctr.

 

are you sure you're not confusing page impressions with clicks?

It looks like they are being considered invalid clicks?

If you only have 19 or so different users coming, and clicking, a lot of those clicks are coming from the same people probably. Just a thought.

 

Might be guest as well, I have advertised alot and most users come from google or forum signatures.

OHHH, I havent updated my tax info so its showing $0 as how much I made. Good thing I emailed them.
